Andrew Roth is currently the president of the State Freedom Caucus Network. Previously, Roth worked for a combined 18 years at the Club for Growth and the Club for Growth Foundation, most recently as the Foundation’s Executive Director.
Before that, Mr. Roth was a securities trader for an established broker-dealer in Omaha, Nebraska. At that time, Mr. Roth was also the owner and publisher for The Iron Fist of Capitalism, a website that analyzed supply-side economics and its positive effects on national politics and the financial markets.
Advocating for economic freedom and limited government, Mr. Roth has appeared on ABC, CNBC, MSNBC, CNN, C-SPAN, Fox News, and the Fox Business Channel. His writings have been published in the New York Times, POLITICO, U.S. News, National Review and the Washington Examiner. He is also a 2012 Lincoln Fellow at the Claremont Institute.
Mr. Roth has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Kansas and a Master’s degree in Economics from George Mason University.
Justin Ouimette is the Vice President of Government Affairs of the State Freedom Caucus Network. He was previously the Executive Director of the House Freedom Caucus, a role he has served in since 2016. Prior to that post, he served as the Policy Director for the House Freedom Caucus and as a Legislative Director. Mr. Ouimette has a Bachelor’s degree in History from Brown University and a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Boston University. From South Carolina, he now lives with his wife and children in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Cesar Ybarra is the Vice President of Government Affairs of the State Freedom Caucus Network. Prior to joining the Network, Cesar served as Policy Director for the House Freedom Caucus.
Cesar has over a decade of experience working for House Freedom Caucus members and mission-aligned organizations. He served as Vice President of Policy of FreedomWorks, Campaign Manager and Legislative Director for Congressman Andy Biggs (AZ-05), and Legislative Correspondent for Congressman Matt Salmon (AZ-05).
Cesar received his B.A. in Political Science from Arizona State University. A naturalized U.S. citizen, Cesar grew up in San Diego, Ca. and currently lives in Arlington, Va.
Dana has dedicated her career to helping raise funds for liberty-minded political candidates, both state and federal, and conservative causes close to her heart. She previously worked as Texas Finance Director for Senator Ted Cruz on his Presidential and Senatorial campaigns. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Political Science from Texas Tech University. She and her husband live in the Austin area.
Sara has over 20 years experience working with non profits to further their mission. She came to us from PragerU where she was the Vice President of Development. She resides in Tennessee with her husband and two daughters.
Blake Bassham is currently the Research Director for the State Freedom Caucus Network. He previously served as the Georgia Legislative Director for the State Freedom Caucus Network. Prior to this, Mr. Bassham worked in a variety of campaign roles, such as Political Director, District Manager, and Campaign Manager. This has yielded extensive experience in political strategy which he has used to consult various campaigns. Mr. Bassham lives in Atlanta, GA and is a native of the Peach State where he works extensively to defend freedom every day.
The Honorable Tim Huelskamp, Ph.D. has three decades of conservative campaign, policy, and legislative experience at both the federal and state levels and is a well-known national conservative leader, experienced communicator, and veteran campaign advisor.
Dr. Huelskamp served as a Member of Congress for six years and chaired the Tea Party Caucus, served in the House Freedom Caucus, and was Whip for the Pro-Life Caucus. Before that, Tim served in the Kansas Legislature for 14 years. At both levels, Tim’s leadership was critical to the passage of dozens of major conservative victories, much to the dismay of both the media and political establishments.
Huelskamp has also served as a leader, political advisor and trainer for conservative candidates, think tanks, campaigns, and organizations including the Heartland Institute, CatholicVote, Bienvenido, and the Kansas Republican Party.
Above politics and policy, Tim and his wife Angela have four adopted children and are active in their local Catholic parish and schools. Tim continues to be involved in the family farm and is the founder of TH2 Strategies, a political consulting firm. He also is President of the Kansas Pregnancy Care Network which supports vulnerable women and their families.
Suanne is excited to serve as State Director in Arizona for the State Freedom Caucus Network after more than a decade working in the U.S. House of Representatives. A native of western Pennsylvania, she started her service on the Hill in her home district, and later served the Fourth District of Iowa and the First District of Texas, most recently serving as Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief Legislative Counsel. Suanne earned her B.A. in International Affairs and Political Science from The George Washington University and her Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law.
Mallory joins the State Freedom Caucus Network as a former teacher and small business owner. With her background in Christian ministry and her experience as a homeschool mom, she brings invaluable convictions and real-world perspectives to fighting for the values of freedom, hard work, personal responsibility, and faith in God. As a true “Georgia Peach”, Mallory was born and raised in Stone Mountain, attended Redan High School, and then went on to attend the University of Georgia. She and her husband Brad have three beautiful children – James, Reagan and John (along with a multitude of family pets).
Collin Moseley is the Director of the Illinois Freedom Caucus. Collin is a graduate of the University of Illinois Springfield, where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. While in college, he served as Vice President of Student Government, University Senator, and Co-President of the Student Advocacy Coalition. Collin’s passion for public service and policy began at a young age, and that fire has continued to grow as he worked for freedom-loving, liberty-minded candidates. He has worked for the U.S. Congress, Illinois House of Representatives, and the Illinois State Senate. Most recently, Collin served as the Deputy Director of Communications on a campaign for Governor of Illinois, and worked closely with conservative candidates of all levels during the last two cycles. Outside of politics, Collin is a volunteer rescue squad first responder and reserve police officer. He is engaged to Caitlyn, and they live in Southern Illinois.
Maria proudly serves as the Idaho State Director for the State Freedom Caucus Network after years of grass-roots political experience. She managed all five of her husband’s, former Representative Ron Nate, legislative campaigns and volunteered on numerous local and state-wide campaigns. She brings decades of knowledge and experience from corporate, education, and political circles.
Maria served as PTO President, managed three successful school bond elections, and served on the Madison School Board. She was selected as a Trump delegate to the 2020 National Convention and was an alternate to the 2016 and 2008 Republican National Conventions. She currently serves as the Secretary to the Idaho State Republican Party and the Madison County Republican Women’s club.
She and her husband Ron have 4 children and are now empty-nesters as their last child joined her siblings at BYU last fall. But the house isn’t completely empty as they still have one dog and two cats to manage.
Connie Hair proudly serves as the Louisiana State Director for the State Freedom Caucus Network. She has been working in politics and media across the fruited plain for her entire adult life. She has worked on campaigns for Governors, U.S. Senators and Congressmen and Presidents in capacities ranging from volunteer door knocker to campaign manager.
Connie served in the United States Army Reserve in psychological warfare (PSYOP) for eight years, doing double duty while she worked at Paramount Pictures in network television at the Hollywood studios. Seeing first hand the destructive force the entertainment industry has become to America’s culture, she abruptly left Hollywood to become fully involved in what was a hobby at the time—politics—to see what could be done about ending socialist Marxism’s degrading influence on this nation’s ability to self-govern. In Connie’s time on Capitol Hill, she served as a member of the Capitol Hill Press Corps as the congressional correspondent for Human Events magazine, she worked for three Members of Congress and a United States Senator in her time as a speechwriter and a communications director. She has spent the past 12 years as House Freedom Caucus member Rep. Louie Gohmert’s chief of staff before his retirement in January, 2023, when she moved home to her native Louisiana to accept the challenge of standing up the Louisiana Freedom Caucus with members of the state legislature. Ali Rak is the Maryland State Director for the State Freedom Caucus Network. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Gettysburg College and a Master’s in Elementary and Special Education from Chestnut Hill College. Ali is a dedicated advocate for life and liberty and has served as a steering committee member with the Maryland March for Life, is a former chair of Charles County Right to Life, and Immediate Past President of Maryland Right to Life. She led Reopen Charles County, a grassroots effort that successfully defeated all Covid-19 restrictions, including a mask mandate in Winter 2021, and co-founded the Coalition of Maryland Parents to unmask school children across the state. Ali lives in Southern Maryland with her husband and their five children.
Former Speaker Tim Jones served in the Missouri House from 2007 to 2015. During that time, Speaker Jones successfully led the charge to cut Missouri’s income tax for the first time in state history, and to pass landmark, historic legislation for the protection of life, the second amendment, school choice, labor and litigation reform, and to protect Missourians from an ever threatening and encroaching federal government.
Now, as a prominent media personality and host of the prime-time evening drive show on St. Louis’ NewsTalkSTL, Tim is a respected thought leader, political analyst and commentator in the television, radio, and digital online media worlds. Tim also serves as the State Director of the Missouri Freedom Caucus, as the Senior Fellow for External Affairs for the Grover Norquist lead Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), and as the Midwest Regional Policy Officer for the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). Tim is the Founder and President of Elevation Strategies, a political, public policy, and communications consulting company dedicated to helping freedom and liberty minded movement conservatives and think tanks take their vision and missions to the next level.
Previously, Tim helped lead the Missouri based public policy media company, First Rule, as their Chief Communications Officer from 2015 to 2020. During that time, Tim also served as the Chairman of the Board for the Missouri Club for Growth and as a Senior Policy Fellow for The Hammond Institute, a free market think tank at Lindenwood University. Tim began his career in 1997 as a prosecuting attorney before transitioning to private practice, simultaneously serving as President of the Board of Aldermen for the City of Eureka and then in the Missouri General Assembly. Tim is married to the accomplished (and ever patient!), Suzanne, and they are blessed with two brilliant and energetic daughters, Katie and Abby.
Darin proudly serves as the Montana State Director for the State Freedom Caucus Network. He is a proud 4th generation Montanan who enlisted in the US Army in 1991 and was assigned to the United States Army’s Presidential Honor Guard in Fort Myer, Virginia. He later joined the Montana Army National Guard in Billings, Montana while working on his bachelor’s degree in Bozeman. He graduated from Montana State University in 1998 and began a career as an Army Aviation Officer flying the Blackhawk helicopter. He spent one year in South Korea, one deployment to North Africa, four deployments to Afghanistan, one deployment to Central and Eastern Europe and multiple assignments around the United States. After earning three bronze stars and other higher awards over a lengthy career he retired in August 2019 out of Fort Carson, Colorado and returned home. During his career he earned two master’s degrees from some of the nation’s most selective graduate programs. Upon retirement he became the Montana State Coordinator for all Army Military Funeral Honors. He later resigned that position to Co-found and serve as a national spokesman for Restore Liberty nationwide and is a respected international military strategist and executive leadership coach. He has been married for 28 years and has two adult children. Darin is active in constitutional grassroots efforts across the country. He and his bride live in Helena, Montana.
Nathan Dahm spent his childhood years in Broken Arrow before the Dahm family moved to the Eastern European nation of Romania as missionaries to the former communist nation.
Upon graduating high school, Nathan returned to serve as a missionary designing the 65-acre Bible school campus being built. Nathan also served as Dean of Students for the Bible school’s charter class.
Nathan returned to Oklahoma & was elected to the State Senate at age 29. He was ranked as the most conservative State Senator in the history of Oklahoma while serving a full 12 years. Nathan led the charge on conservative policy such as passing Constitutional Carry, the Life at Conception Act, & the first in the nation Anti-Red Flag Act.
As the South Dakota State Director for the State Freedom Caucus Network, Hannah is dedicated to advancing liberty through legislative initiatives. A recent graduate of South Dakota State University, Hannah earned a degree in Economics and brings a strong foundation in policy analysis and grassroots advocacy to the role.
Before joining the State Freedom Caucus Network, Hannah served as a staffer for Young Americans for Liberty, where her commitment to liberty earned her the prestigious Torchbearer of Liberty Award at the Revolution 2023 national convention for excellence in campus activism.
Originally from Minnesota and having spent time in Oklahoma, Hannah has found a home in South Dakota, where she continues her mission to promote freedom and empower legislative leaders to create meaningful change.
Evan is the current State Director for the South Carolina State Freedom Caucus. A native of Augusta, Georgia, Evan earned his Bachelors Degree in History from Bob Jones University located in Greenville, SC where he began his political career as a Field Director for former Gubernatorial candidate, John Warren. Evan has consulted on over 30 political campaigns in South Carolina, served as the Executive Director for SC Club for Growth, and has worked as an Outreach Director and Senior Advisor to Congressman William Timmons.
Jessie proudly serves as the Wyoming State Director for the State Freedom Caucus Network. Born and raised in Wyoming, Jessie earned her law degree from the University of Wyoming where she graduated Order of the Coif. During law school, she served as a Legal Fellow at Mountain States Legal Foundation, a public interest law firm in Colorado defending civil liberties and private property rights. She also served as a legislative extern with the Wyoming Legislative Service Office. She has been deeply involved in the liberty movement in the Cowboy State, having worked and volunteered on several statewide and legislative campaigns.
