Andrew Roth – President
Andrew Roth is currently the president of the State Freedom Caucus Network. Previously, Roth worked for a combined 18 years at the Club for Growth and the Club for Growth Foundation, most recently as the Foundation’s Executive Director. Before that, Mr. Roth was a securities trader for an established broker-dealer in Omaha, Nebraska. At that time, Mr. Roth was also the owner and publisher for The Iron Fist of Capitalism, a website that analyzed supply-side economics and its positive effects on national politics and the financial markets. Advocating for economic freedom and limited government, Mr. Roth has appeared on ABC, CNBC, MSNBC, CNN, C-SPAN, Fox News, and the Fox Business Channel. His writings have been published in the New York Times, POLITICO, U.S. News, National Review and the Washington Examiner. He is also a 2012 Lincoln Fellow at the Claremont Institute. Mr. Roth has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Kansas and a Master’s degree in Economics from George Mason University.Justin Ouimette – Government Affairs
Justin Ouimette is the incoming Vice President of Government Affairs of the State Freedom Caucus Network. He is currently the Executive Director of the House Freedom Caucus, a role he has served in since 2016. Prior to that post, he served as the Policy Director for the House Freedom Caucus and as a Legislative Director. Mr. Ouimette has a Bachelor’s degree in History from Brown University and a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Boston University. From South Carolina, he now lives with his wife and children in Silver Spring, Maryland.Blake Bassham – State Director (Arizona)
Blake Bassham is currently the State Director for the State Freedom Caucus in Arizona and previously worked as Legislative Director for the Georgia Freedom Caucus. He has for liberty-minded Republican candidates running for office working on campaign strategy, managing day-to-day operations, and running field operations. Mr. Bassham has long been an advocate for individual liberties, limited government and has also been on the frontlines fighting against critical race theory and for free speech on college campuses. Mr. Bassham has studied Political Science at the University of North Georgia and is a proud Georgia native who is passionate about the need for liberty-minded governance in at all levels of government.Philip Singleton – State Director (Georgia)
Philip joined the Army nine days after the Sept. 11th, 2001. He spent two years in the Georgia Army National Guard and 13 years as an active-duty officer flying the AH-64D Longbow both in and out of combat. He deployed to combat for one tour in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan with the storied 101st Airborne Division and was awarded two bronze star medals and five air medals for his combat actions. Philip was selected to attend the Intelligence Officer Advanced Course, the Command and General Staff College, and is certified as both a Strategic and Joint Planner. In addition to his military training, Philip has master’s degrees in Aeronautical Science and International Relations graduating both programs with honors. Since leaving the military in 2017, Philip became a Commercial Airline Pilot. In 2019 he ran in a special election for the Georgia General Assembly. As a limited government conservative, he refused to take any Lobbyist dollars and was outspent 4:1 by the daughter of a US Congressman and heavy establishment favorite. Despite these odds he was able to win with nearly 60% of the vote and became a member of the Georgia General Assembly. Since taking office, Philip has consistently been evaluated as the most fearless and consistent conservative in the general assembly. He was the 2021 Georgia Baptist Legislator of the year and a 2021 Club for Growth Fellow. In December of 2021 Philip founded the Georgia Freedom Caucus and helped launch the State Freedom Caucus Network. Philip is now the acting Georgia State Director for the State Freedom Caucus Network and the Vice Chair of the Georgia Freedom Caucus.Brooke Powell – State Director (Illinois)
Brooke is the new State Director for the Illinois Freedom Caucus. In the past 3 years, Brooke worked for freedom loving candidates in local, state and federal races in the state of Kansas. She married the love of her life, Joseph, in 2020. In 2021, she worked for the Kansas Truth Caucus as their Executive Director. Her & her husband now reside in Effingham, IL where she was born & raised.Steven Utroska – State Director (Mississippi)
Steven Utroska is currently the State Director for Mississippi at the State Freedom Caucus Network. He was previously the Mississippi State Director of Americans for Prosperity. Before that, Mr. Utroska was an engineering consultant for over ten years holding both Professional Engineer and Professional Geologist licenses in several southern states. Mr. Utroska formerly served on the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Center for Public Policy, Mississippi’s only state-based conservative think-tank. Mr. Utroska is a 2021 Club for Growth Foundation Fellow and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Mississippi and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Liberty University.Daniel Honchariw – State Director (Nevada)
Daniel Honchariw joined the State Freedom Caucus Network following six combined years as a research analyst—primarily in the fields of public-sector labor relations and state fiscal policy—and as an in-session lobbyist for the Nevada Policy Research Institute, the state’s oldest and most influential free-market think tank. Daniel earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and his Master of Public Administration at California State University, Dominguez Hills. A Bay Area (Marin County) native, he now resides in northern Nevada. When he is absent from his desk, look for him on the local ski slopes!Evan Newman – State Director (South Carolina)
Evan is the current State Director for the South Carolina State Freedom Caucus. A native of Augusta, Georgia, Evan earned his Bachelors Degree in History from Bob Jones University located in Greenville, SC where he began his political career as a Field Director for former Gubernatorial candidate, John Warren. Evan has consulted on over 30 political campaigns in South Carolina, served as the Executive Director for SC Club for Growth, and has worked as an Outreach Director and Senior Advisor to Congressman William Timmons.Jordan Mason – State Director (South Dakota)
Jordan Mason is a U.S. Navy veteran, serving from 2003-2007 in a military intelligence role, and is a Pre-Law (Interdisciplinary Sciences) graduate of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (2007-2011). Jordan Mason first became actively involved in politics in 2010, at the age of 25, when he was elected to the Rapid City Council, where he served 2 years.
He has been described as a serial entrepreneur, marketing specialists, lobbyist, and, as one of the best political consultants in South Dakota, running an average of 3 campaigns per year and has consistently won over 70% of all elections or campaigns during that time.
